Jade Chang (PhD, MHEcon, MHM, BSc) is a health and social care economist and research-focused academic at the Centre for Disability Research and Policy, The University of Sydney. She has professional experience conducting applied economic and policy evaluation across health, disability, and social care systems. Her research focuses on the economic evaluation of disability interventions, with particular interest in universal disability insurance, supported employment, and disability service markets. She applies a range of quantitative and mixed methods, including costing and outcome measurement, economic modelling, stated-preference techniques, and natural experiments using linked administrative and survey data. Her work aims to strengthen the evidence base for policy and service decision-making, support priority setting, and promote more equitable and effective resource allocation in health, disability and social care systems.
