Dr Eyal Karin

Eyal Karin is a Senior Research Fellow and statistician specialising in mental health, resilience, and complex systems modelling. His work focuses on developing advanced analytical methods to better understand how psychological processes unfold over time, with particular emphasis on translating complex data into practical, scalable insights for prevention and intervention.

He has led and contributed to large-scale research across clinical, workplace, and military contexts, including trials and longitudinal studies examining mental health trajectories, resilience, and risk. His methodological expertise spans network analysis, structural equation modelling, and evidence synthesis, with a strong emphasis on integrating diverse data sources into coherent, actionable frameworks.

Eyal is also the founder of Syntopic, a platform designed to distil vast bodies of scientific evidence into clear, interpretable formats. Through Syntopic, he is working to transform how mental health knowledge is aggregated, communicated, and applied, enabling researchers, organisations, and decision makers to access complex insights in a simple, visually grounded way.

Together, his research and entrepreneurial work aim to bridge the gap between advanced psychological science and real-world impact, particularly in the design of systems that support mental health at scale.
