Dr Steeve Marchand

Steeve is a research fellow at the Melbourne Institute: Applied Economic & Social Research at the University of Melbourne. He received his PhD from Université Laval (Canada) and was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. He specialises in Labour Economics, Public Economics, and the Economics of Crime. He studies youth disadvantage, transitions after school, and labour market and training opportunities in Australia.

Research interests: Youth disadvantage, transitions after school, labour market opportunities, training opportunities, peer effects, crime, program evaluation.
