Understanding variations in the built environment over time to inform longitudinal studies of young children's physical activity behaviour - The BEACHES Project
Published: 2024
Jasper Schipperijn’s research focuses on the relationship between the built environment and human behaviour, and in particular evaluating the effect of changes to the environment on behaviour. Much of his work builds on intervention studies or natural experiments that involved changes to the built environment. One of his special interests lies in developing methods to objectively describe behaviour and the environment that behaviour takes place in.
