Sophie Austerberry

Sophie Austerberry has commenced her PhD under the supervision of Janeen. She will investigate gender inequality over the life course, with a particular focus on learning from Australian households that have an egalitarian division of unpaid labour, including LGBTQ+ households. With a background in psychology and social science, and five years of research assistant experience at ISSR, Sophie is passionate about conducting research aimed at reducing social inequalities.
