Madison Lloyd

Madison is a PhD student and research assistant with the Bringing Gender Equality Home team. She is a mixed methods researcher interested in the underlying causes and primary prevention of gender inequality. Her research interests include sexual violence, youth justice, parenting, and gendered division of labour.

Madison graduated from UQ with a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice with Honours. Her Honours thesis explored the relationship between parenting behaviour and risk of adolescent sexual violence victimisation and offending. Her PhD thesis continues this work by exploring adolescent experiences of sexual violence.
