Emma Kaye

Emma Kaye is a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne with a Master of Public Health and a strong background in health economics, consulting, and data analysis. Her career spans roles in government and advisory, where she has addressed complex challenges in aged care, healthcare, and social policy. Currently, Emma is investigating how Australia can equitably transition away from gas by examining the social, policy, and financial barriers, with a particular focus on supporting renters and low-income households to electrify. She is passionate about creating practical, people-centred solutions to complex public health and social policy challenges, bringing expertise in stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and evidence-based approaches to ensure the energy transition is sustainable, just, and humane.
