Presenters

Bronwyn Carlson

Distinguished Professor Bronwyn Carlson is Head of the Centre for Critical Indigenous Studies and Deputy Director (Indigenous) and Chief Investigator of the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence against Women (CEVAW). A leading researcher on Indigenous digital life, she has secured multiple ARC grants and is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities.

Tamika Worrell

Dr Tamika Worrell is a Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Critical Indigenous Studies and Director of Research Training. She leads the Digital Futures stream for the Global Indigenous Futures Research Centre at Macquarie University and an Associate Investigator for CEVAW. Her research focuses on Indigenous representation in all levels of education, as well as in digital worlds, including AI where she is a leading voice.

Carl Knox

Carl Knox is a creative technologist and scientific visualisation specialist working at the intersection of science, communication and emerging technologies.  After first engaging with AI out of concern for job disruption, he now uses it daily as a practical toolkit to reduce cognitive load, support creative thinking, and maintain human control while working faster and more effectively.
