Elena is a Health Psychologist, registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. She holds a Masters in Health Psychology and commenced a PhD in Psychology at The University of Queensland in 2025.
Elena has worked with adolescents and adults through a variety of public hospital settings, allowing her to have experience across a range of different presenting issues. She has experience treating sleep disorders, functional GI disorders (e.g. irritable bowel syndrome), anxiety and mood disorders, and trauma-related difficulties using a holistic approach for adolescents and adults. Elena believes that a strong therapeutic relationship, based on compassion and non-judgemental understanding, combined with evidence-based treatments enables clients to achieve their therapeutic goals.
