Exploring the Experiences of Australian Fathers Who Lead School ‘Dads Groups’

Thom is a Research Officer in the School and Community Wellbeing and Childhood Disability teams at The Kids Research Institute Australia.
His PhD research centered on the experiences of dyslexic secondary students and their parents living in Western Australia. He has a wide range of research interests, including parenting, disability, education policy, and equity.
Thom also has a keen interest in a variety of qualitative research methods, including semi-structured interviews, ethnography, focus groups, and interpretative policy analysis.
