Life Course Centre members celebrated in Australia Day Honours

The Life Course Centre was well-represented in the Australia Day 2024 Honours List with three members recognised for their outstanding achievements and contributions to research.

Life Course Centre Emeritus Chief Investigator Professor Lorraine Mazerolle was appointed as a Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) in the General Division for eminent service to education, to the social sciences as a criminologist and researcher, and to the development of innovative, evidence-based policing reforms. 

Professor Deborah Cobb-Clark Life Course, Centre Chief Investigator, was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the General Division for distinguished service to economic research, to tertiary education, and to the social sciences. 

Centre Chief Investigator Associate Professor Hayley Christian was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the General Division for significant service to children’s health through policy development and research.
