Dr Tuhin Biswas

Tuhin Biswas is working as a Post-Doctoral Research fellow (Group: Health and Society) at the Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR), The University of Queensland in Australia. Although his training was in Public Heath, currently he is working in a multidisciplinary environment at ISSR. Here Tuhin’s research focuses on understanding the social and economic consequences of health and demographic change, both in developed and developing countries. Recently, he published a number of papers as a first author in Eclinical Medecine, published by The Lancet publishing group focusing global health perspective. Tuhin has a strong national and international collaboration with researchers and institutions in countries including USA, UK, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Nepal, and Bangladesh.

Prior to his graduation, he started his research career as a Research Fellow in one of the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) supported center of excellence named “Centre for Control of Chronic Diseases” at icddr,b, Bangladesh.
