Matthew ‘Tepi’ Mclaughlin a physical activity researcher and public health advocate. Tepi’s passions include physical activity, walking, cycling, urban design, school, child and adolescent health.
Tepi is a confident presenter and actively engages with journalists, including radio, print and television — to share the latest research on physical activity, health, transport and liveability.
Tepi has led national and international advocacy activities for physical activity through collaborations with international and national organisations. One such example of this was developing an advocacy toolkit to support physical activity advocates to implement the #8Investments That Work for Physical Activity.
Tepi has research expertise in implementation science, mixed-methods, scale-up and research dissemination.
