Dr Cain Polidano

Cain’s research interests centre on measuring the benefits of education and evaluating the efficacy of measures to improve the engagement in, and outcomes from, education. A key aspect of Cain’s research is in trying to estimate causal relationships to inform contemporary policy debate. Prior to undertaking his PhD, Cain worked as a Senior Research Economist with the Productivity Commission, the Australian Government’s principle independent research and advisory body on microeconomic reform.
